Practical Management of Patient Violence and Aggression and Their Surroundings
For hospital and practice healthcare professionals, a human approach that preserves the patient-carer relationship.
This All Leaders Initiative training is dedicated to healthcare professionals facing violence in hospital or community settings. The context is alarming: violence in hospitals increased by 10% between 2023 and 2024, 37% of hospital healthcare workers report regularly experiencing physical assault, and this figure rises to 84% among care assistants. Healthcare workers are first responders in 59% of violence cases — even before security services.
Recognised expertise
Faced with this reality, All Leaders Initiative has developed specific expertise in high-risk care environments — emergency departments, psychiatry, geriatric care, home care, SMUR — recognised and accredited by the Italian Ministry of Health as part of ongoing training for healthcare personnel (ECM).
Endorsed by professionals
The 16-hour training (2 days) trains teams to manage patient and family stress, communicate tactically to defuse situations, protect themselves physically without ever striking, and intervene as a team according to a common protocol. It preserves the carer-patient relationship as an unalterable ethical foundation in all circumstances. Evaluation includes a follow-up review at 3 months.
